Painting anything is always WAY more interesting than painting a blank white square. Canvases are so normal haha.

And wow, three people? Crazy...

Fabric markers, in my experience, are useless. It's posca (paint) pens or nothing if you're gonna go marker-ing crapola!

I would love to visit Australia. But I know about 3 people who are moving to Australia too. It's a pretty strange coincidence. D:

I tried customizing my shoes with fabric markers and it didn't work out too well. Hahaha. I always feel like people are staring at my customized things when I walk around my school. Well everyone in Illinois stares at anything different, so yeah.

I never tried on canvas. My friend suggested canvas paper, but I never liked the whole thought of paper imitation. I guess I paint whatever is around.

Thanks for the tip about brush size. I really need a new brush! Ha. (:

Technically I'm not actually moving to Australia, as I've lived here all of my life lol.
But I can understand why so many people do move here, it's a beautiful place.

Haha I'm sure your life story is plenty interesting!

And yeah, smallest brush. My smallest is about the width of your cuticle.

All the shoes I painted were done with brushes not much bigger than that.
All of my canvases are done with big brushes for the background (only to save time really) and small brushes for the foreground.

Nylon brushes are the best too... I can't bear the thought of horse-hair brushes... eurghck!

But I will find one. I have absolutely no patience. All my acrylic comes out messily. D: I'm silly.

Haha aww thanks so much. The secret to acrylics is the smallest brush you can find and hours of patience which I often don't have!

And yes, The Plastic Trees was inspired by Radiohead's "Fake Plastic Trees". Although I do love my radiohead, the side-project (currently a duo) is really nothing like radiohead. More a musical experiment to give me something to fall back on when i move away from my current bandmate (with whom I have experienced substantially more success and have a fairly constant source of gigs) to Sydney for uni next year.
